Hours: 7.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday

Holidays: 28 Days P/A Inclusive of Bank & Public Holidays

Company Overview:

A growing Fire Protection business is seeking an exceptional Contracts Manager for an immediate
start. CA Fire Protection Ltd offer a full range of passive fire protection services to businesses and
homes across the UK and, due to recent growth, we are looking for a new Contracts Manager to join
the team.

Job Description/ Responsibilities:

The Contracts Manager will join us with a wealth of industry-related knowledge and a minimum of 3
years’ experience in a related Contracts Manager role. They will be confident and motivated, with a
hands-on approach. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • End-to-end project and cost management, from initial brief to sign off.
  • To estimate for and oversee the installation of various passive fire protection products and intumescent paint.
  • Programming projects and ensuring they are carried out to a high level of detail, following all manufacturer guidelines in the process.
  • Liaising with site management teams, to ensure that all involved are aware of our work processes.
  • Attending site visits to get a better knowledge of the works required, to assist with quotations.
  • Attending weekly review meetings of how projects are going, ensuring deadlines are being met.
  • Producing relevant RAMs and H&S documents, ensuring that these are adhered to, to ensure timely management of both temporary and permanent staff, to meet the requirements of each project.
  • Uploading new clients, projects, drawings and RAMs to the BORIS system and ensuring this is completed prior to each project start date.
  • Overall business development; introductions and client proposals.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Contracts Manager role.
  • Extensive experience in passive fire protection and intumescent paint.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of fire stopping procedures and products.
  • In date SMSTS and CSCS tickets.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confident individual, capable of managing any situation on site.
  • Experience with using the BORIS system, both on site and in the office.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Full, valid UK driving licence with the willingness and flexibility to travel to sites across the UK at short notice.
